Among the most recent events is the resignation of Michelle King, acting commissioner of the Social Security Administration, who quit over the weekend after billionaire Elon Musk’s DOGE team sought access to records.
King refused to provide DOGE staffers at the Social Security Administration with access to sensitive information, according to The Associated Press.
